To All 1st Choice Management Tenants:

As our offices are closed to the public, we want to encourage all our residents to take advantage of our online payment functionality. Fortunately, our technology platform makes online rent payment and maintenance requests very easy. We hope  this situation will encourage that number towards 100% of our tenants pay online.

Please now ONLY emergency repairs will be conducted during this time, until further notice.

 We will be sending another email to invite tenants to create online portal, to pay their April rent and future months.  Please use this to set up your online portal, if you have not do so in the past. 

We understand that many of you are nervous about the current economic climate. We are too. These are perilous times for everyone. Some of you may have already felt an economic hit and are facing the prospect of reduced income. If so, we empathize and hope that the situation improves quickly. 
 
I do not want to appear unsympathetic, but it is essential that you pay your rent as usual and on time. Just as you need to pay for groceries, utilities and gas, your rent is an essential expense that you need to cover. 
 
Please remember, the landlords that we represent are feeling the effects of this pandemic too. Please do not assume that the owner of your property can afford to miss out on rent. They can’t. The vast majority of our clients are not professional landlords, they own one or two properties and they are subject to financial obligations, like mortgage, HOA dues, insurance and taxes. It’s also inevitable that the income of some of our landlords will also be affected, making your timely rental income even more critical. 
 
Fortunately, state and federal governments are acting quickly with stimulus packages and assistance aimed at ensuring everyone can maintain their obligations and that we can overcome this difficult period together. Please bear in mind that emergency funds and assistance are often limited and issued on a first come first serve basis. I urge anyone who is concerned about their situation to review the resource links below and get ahead of the game.
